Emirates Golf Club

Hi I recently had the honour of being accepted as a member at Emirates Golf Club, Dubai. I must say in my opinion it’s the best club I have joined.

We have a world class championship course Majlis also The Faldo another great test which is also floodlit, a beautiful 3 course and not forgetting Topgolf not just a driving range!!!

Majlis Course: Known as the 'Grand Dame' of golf in the UAE the Majlis Course offers a challenging layout with dramatic cityscape backdrops. The Majlis Course at Emirates Golf Club in Dubai was the first all-grass championship golf course in the Middle East. Designed by Karl Litten and established in 1988, it was built on natural desert dunes, incorporating the region’s native landscape into its design. The course takes its name from the Majlis building, which sits prominently on the course and serves as a key feature of the club.

This par-72, 7,301-yard course is world-renowned for its challenging layout, strategically placed water hazards, rolling fairways, and lush greens. The desert flora has been preserved in its natural state, providing a unique contrast between the green fairways and the surrounding sandy terrain.

The Majlis Course is best known as the host of the Dubai Desert Classic, an annual event on the DP World Tour (formerly the European Tour), which has attracted legendary golfers such as Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Ernie Els and Peter Mitchell The Geeze.

With stunning views of Dubai’s skyline and a reputation as one of the finest courses in the region, the Majlis Course continues to be a top destination for golfers seeking a world-class experience.

Faldo Course: The Faldo Course at Emirates Golf Club in Dubai is a premier 18-hole championship golf course, originally known as The Wadi before being redesigned by six-time Major Champion Sir Nick Faldo in 2005. Reopened in 2006, the course was renamed in his honour. This par-73, 7,348-yard course is renowned for its strategic layout, featuring deep bunkers, water hazards, and undulating fairways that challenge golfers of all skill levels. Faldo’s signature design philosophy is evident throughout, requiring precision and thoughtful shot-making. One of the course’s standout features is its state-of-the-art floodlighting system, making it the only fully floodlit 18-hole course in Dubai. This allows for night golf, providing a unique experience for players looking to enjoy cooler evening rounds under the city skyline.

The Par 3 Course at Emirates Golf Club is a high-quality, floodlit 9-hole course designed to provide an enjoyable and accessible golfing experience for players of all skill levels. It is ideal for beginners looking to learn the game, as well as experienced golfers aiming to sharpen their short game. Featuring challenging greens, bunkers, and undulating fairways, the course replicates the feel of a full-sized championship course but in a more compact layout. The floodlighting system allows for night-time play, making it a perfect option for those who prefer golfing in cooler evening conditions.
