Golf de Chiberta

Golf de Chiberta was designed in 1927 by Tom Simpson at Anglet just north of Biarritz on the Basque Atlantic coast of France. The Duke of Windsor, a serious golfer was apparently involved. It was in Simpson’s contract that he should create the most beautiful golf course in the world. The result is an outstanding course that is beautiful with six holes running alongside the dunes that meet the Atlantic Ocean and the remainder carved through a mature pine forest. 5647 meters, Par 70.
