A sophisticated beachfront resort in the Taghazout enclave, blending wellness, nature, and luxury with exceptional dining.
Design & Ambience
Fairmont Hotels & Resorts designed Fairmont Taghazout Bay in collaboration with a Moroccan architect to blend modern luxury with subtle nods to Moroccan / Berber heritage.
The architecture and interiors mix contemporary lines with natural materials and local craftsmanship: expect light-wood, organic furnishings, textured rugs and fabrics with traditional patterns, and artisanal touches in details.
Floor-to-ceiling windows, open-air communal spaces, and design choices that blur indoor and outdoor boundaries help the resort lean heavily into its coastal setting — evoking a feeling of understated elegance meets beach-resort calm.
Leisure & Wellness
Wellness and leisure are a major draw here. The resort spans 18 hectares and offers direct access to a private beach and ocean, ideal for beach-side relaxation.
The highlight is Fairmont Spa Taghazout Bay — one of the largest resort-spas in Africa, with multiple hammams, treatment rooms, a magnesium pool, saunas, steam rooms, indoor and outdoor relaxation zones, garden spaces, and a yoga shala.
There’s a fitness center (with sea-view), jogging/walking trails, and opportunities for surf lessons or other water sports.
