Abu Dhabi Golf Club

Abu Dhabi Golf Club stands as one of the UAE’s most iconic golfing destinations, renowned for its world-class facilities, distinctive architecture, and a rich history of hosting prestigious international tournaments.

Designed by Peter Harradine and inaugurated in 2000, the club features a 27-hole layout spread across 162 hectares. The centerpiece is the National Course, an 18-hole, par-72 championship course stretching up to 7,600 yards from the back tees. This course challenges golfers with its lush fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and water hazards, all set against a stunning desert landscape.

Abu Dhabi Golf Club has been a prominent venue on the international golf scene. It hosted the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship for 16 consecutive years, attracting top players like Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy, and Tiger Woods. In 2023, the club hosted the Eisenhower Trophy, the World Amateur Team Championship, further cementing its status as a premier golfing destination. 

The club's excellence has been recognized with multiple awards, including being named the 'Best Golf Course' in both Abu Dhabi and the Middle East at the World Golf Awards. 

A defining feature of Abu Dhabi Golf Club is its iconic Falcon Clubhouse, designed to resemble a falcon with outstretched wings. Overlooking the 9th and 18th greens, this architectural marvel offers panoramic views of the course. In 2021, the clubhouse underwent significant renovations, introducing a new terrace, an expanded golf shop, and the Falcon Bar, enhancing the overall guest experience. 

Beyond golf, the club offers a range of dining options, including Café 28, The Grille, and the Championship Lounge, each providing a unique culinary experience. Leisure facilities include a free-form swimming pool, a state-of-the-art gymnasium, squash courts, sauna, steam room, and Jacuzzi, ensuring guests have a comprehensive recreational experience.
