The course is quite impressive and is considered to be one of the finest courses in Ireland. Doonbeg golf course designer, Greg Norman laid out the course in such a way that very few alterations were made on the existing terrains.
The par-72 design boasts a single circuit strip of 9 holes out and 9 holes back. There are 12 fairways, 14 greens and incredible views of the ocean from the 16th tee.

Ballybunion Old Course is a first-class golf course that has two renowned courses, the Old Course and Cashen Course. The Old Course par 71, 6,598 yards is an 18 hole course perched on a stretch of stunning sand dune systems with views of the Atlantic Ocean. From the 1st tee, you will notice the dramatic view of the large sand dunes and rough grasslands around the tee structure.
